Software Engineer
From my collection of experimental artistic projects on CodePen.io to my array of functional applications, I make my best efforts to ensure my work boasts a respectable user interface. My main tool is React, but I will always explore the most appropriate frontend framework for the job.
Brought up in Java, I have since expanded into building desktop applications with C# as well as web apps with Javascript. For data, I use MySQL where necessary and NoSQL systems when possible. My current focus is on PWA development with node.
I have built CI/CD systems using both AWS and Firebase and have experience automating with GitHub actions. Additionally, I have practice in testing with JUnit and am familiar with both dynamic and static testing methodologies.
Software developer based in CA
Originally from the Sacramento region in California, I initially had an inclination towards all things mechanical and had gotten involved with shop classes since middle school. Having taught as a TA in high school for an engineering course focusing on CNC drafting and machining, it wasn't until my senior year that I discovered my passion for software development.
Since then, I graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelors of Science in Software Engineering, having gained a techincal baseline of knowledge in OOP, SDLC, and full-stack development. I now primarily use JS & C# to realize my passion for both building progressive web applications and exploring augmented reality, but am always willing to learn a new technology to get the job done.
My most recent role is as a Mainframe Applications Engineer for IBM in West Sacramento.
